Hi, I’m Steve Begley – a people-person, lover of great stories, and someone who genuinely loves a good celebration (especially a wedding!).

 

I'm happily married ti the amazing Stuart and we love living on the Gold Coast! In any spare time - I'm passionate about classic cars, (especially my MGB roadster), motor sport and a mad renovator!  

 

We both love entertaining, so our home is always full of music, great food and laughter!

 

I love a beer, a glass of wine (at the appropriate time ...of course) or a great coffee - let's meet up over one of those!

From Hosting to Celebrating Love

My path to becoming a marriage celebrant started with a long career helping people connect. I’ve worked across Australia as a leadership coach, event MC, and team culture specialist—so when friends asked me to officiate their weddings, it felt like a perfect fit.

 

And once I stood up there and helped tell their love stories? I was hooked.

Now being a wedding celebrant is my absolute passion.

Celebrating All Love

Love is love—and every couple deserves a ceremony that reflects who they are. I’ve had the honour of officiating same-sex weddings and commitment ceremonies, and as myself am part of the LGBTQ+ community, I bring the same warmth, respect, and genuine joy to every celebration.

​

It’s one of the most meaningful parts of what I do — celebrating love in all its beautiful forms, and helping create safe, affirming, joy-filled spaces for every couple I work with.
